First summited on 6th October 1889 by German geologist, Hans Meyer, Ludwig Purtscheller and a local called Lauwo, Kilimanjaro is made of three volcanic cones, Kibo, Mawenzi and Shira in situated on the plans of Tanzania. It is the highest mountin in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
